Dear friend,
If
you're anything like me, you would have been quite surprised
when you had trouble falling pregnant. My husband and I were
both young, healthy and as far as we knew, in prime 'breeding'
condition. Everyone in our families had fallen pregnant so
easily that we naturally assumed we would too.
So when the first
few months went by without a pregnancy, we felt odd but we reassured
ourselves. "It's all very normal", we would say. "Some people fall
pregnant quickly, and some take a little while". Well that excuse only lasted
a few more months and then it became painfully clear that we were
definitely "having problems".
Recognize The
Signs Of Possible Underlying Problems
We started asking
ourselves in disbelief, "could we be infertile?". One of the most
important things in your quest for a baby is to try and recognize early on any
signs that you may have fertility problems. These signs are really broad
as they represent a wide range of conditions, all of which can cause problems
falling pregnant.
Do you have
irregular periods? Do you have problems with too much facial, leg or arm hair?
Do you get a lot of acne? These are just some of the signs that may
indicate you have an underlying medical condition that could be affecting your
fertility.
Know Exactly
When You Are Most Fertile
As you'll discover,
there are a wide range of factors that affect your chances of getting
pregnant. One of these is the timing of intercourse. Do it too
often, too seldom, at the wrong time of the month, even at the wrong time of
day, and you are hurting your chances.
Once my husband and
I figured all this out the call would go out, "it's time!" and he would come
running. Making sure it's the right time is crucial.

Make Sure Your
Man Does His Part
A lot of women feel
the whole burden of 'fertility' lies on them, but it's not true. The man
has a significant role to play in optimizing your chances of falling pregnant. Factors such as what he eats and drinks, how he cleans himself, and even what
kind of underwear he uses can all affect his fertility.
A few adjustments
can see your man's sperm count and quality show significant improvements, and
that's all very important in making this baby!
Find Out
Exactly What Parts Of Your Lifestyle Are Holding You Back
Lifestyle
factors are a huge influence on fertility. Not only diet as
mentioned below, but a whole host of things can affect your fertility. The way you exercise, the kind of work you do, various habits and a
multitude of other things can all influence your chances of getting
pregnant.
Discover All The
Options Available To You
If (heaven forbid)
you should reach the stage where all the natural methods of falling pregnant
have failed, it may be time to consider getting some medical assistance. Many women are often surprised at how 'gentle' this can be. Not all
fertility treatments are highly technical, invasive therapies. In fact,
there are many non-invasive medical options to help you fall pregnant, with
options like in-vitro fertilization (IVF) not coming until much further down
the track.
Eradicate
Possible Causes Of Miscarriage
Miscarriages can be
heartbreaking and cause a lot of women to lose hope. The first thing to
remember about miscarriages is that they are extremely common, and many women
will have one without even knowing.
The causes for
miscarriage are broad, and often the cause isn't obvious. Some
miscarriages do have an obvious medical cause like an abnormal uterus, but
there are lifestyle factors that can contribute to miscarriages. In
'Fertility Found' I've gone into detail on these so you can examine your own
life and see if there are things you can change to decrease your chance of
miscarriage.

Fertility
Secrets Of The Bedroom
Now I won't go into
all the details here, but there are a number of secrets relating to exactly what goes on in the bedroom that can help your fertility. These include
things like sexual position, what 'items' you can and can't use in
intercourse, and what to do immediately after intercourse.
Enough said ... more
details inside!
Find Out How
Your Diet May Be Sabotaging Your Efforts
The old adage of
"you are what you eat" becomes all the more important when trying to conceive
a baby. The things you eat (and drink) can have a huge effect on not
only your chances of getting pregnant, but also the health of your unborn
baby.
I got into a
detailed diet plan looking at what foods will actively help your quest to get
pregnant, and what potentially harmful foods to avoid.
Learn Which 'Alternative' Therapies Work And Which Ones Will Hurt You
There are a
lot of alternative and complementary therapies out there that claim to
be able to make anyone pregnant, regardless of their situation.
Needless to
say, these therapies are not all they claim to be. But some
therapies have been shown to work, particularly in certain
combinations! In the Fertility Found ebook I take a detailed
look at what therapies do and don't work, and which you should stay
well clear of.
